Quilt finished.

This quilt measures 78" x 86". I purchased the fabric at a craft fair. This is the biggest quilt that I have made, but I enjoyed the challenge especially when it came to putting it all together. I opted (easy option maybe) for straight lines when quilting it. I did scrappy binding which is hand sewn at the back as I feel that this gives it a neater finished.

As 2011 comes to a close I just wanted to say 'Thank You' to everyone who has dropped by my blog and left words of encouragement.
I made my first quilt in may 2011 and decided to set up a blog. Since then I have met so many friends along the way who have not only encouraged me with their kind comments but have been an inspiration to me. I have been involved in swaps from mini quilts to needle cases which were great fun. I have received beautiful gifts from amazing talented quilters and artists. I have enjoyed visiting all your blogs and sharing in your day to day adventures.
I am looking forward to what 2012 will bring and what new friends we will meet along the way.
